Welcome to the BCS Website!

Bourofaye Christian School is a Christian boarding School for the children of cross-cultural workers who work in the region of West Africa. Although run by WEC International, it also cares for the children of other cross-cultural worker's organisations. BCS enables families to continue with their ministry in West Africa, by providing an education for their children.

BCS is a centre of education and a home. Currently, a total of approximately 50 children live at BCS, representing over 15 countries, which creates a unique international mix. If you would like to learn more about Sénégal, please click on the map of Sénégal to the right.

BCS is situated a short distance between the scenic coastal town of Popenguine and the busy regional capital called Thiès. It is approximately 80 km from Dakar, the capital city of Sénégal; which can be reached in a two hour drive. Due to its rural setting, BCS enjoys a tranquil atmosphere, away from the stress of urban activity and pollution.
